I am a dedicated performing artist with a background in audio technology and live sound. I have studied trombone with Jay Crone for nearly three years and hope to continue making progress in my remaining semesters of study. With a Music Technology program at Virginia Tech that puts a heavy emphasis on the theoretical aspects of sound and its properties, specific classes are preparing me to think critically about microphone placement, interaction of digital audio workstations, as well as the spaces where recordings are being produced and much more. It has been an enjoyable expereince majoring in Music Technology and Music Performance thus far, and I feel that I will be adequatley prepared for the road ahead upon graduation in spring 2013.
